BioLogos Post on Homo naledi is Up

My question-and-answer post with Brad Kramer is up at BioLogos.  Comments welcome there and here.

  1. So, in this find, is there any actual bone left or is this all fossilization material that has replaced all bone?
Svante Paabo's group retrieved Neanderthal DNA but those bones would be only several thousand years old, correct?
It would help immensely if these Naledi bones contained DNA.

  2. It is all fossil. This means that it is in excess of one million years old. There will be no DNA from these finds, unfortunately.
