The Globe and Mail has an article on a new book edited by Ronald Numbers, who wrote the exceptional book The Creationists. The new book, called Galileo Goes to Jail, addresses 25 myths of science and debunks everything from, well, Galileo's so called imprisonment to Descarte's mind-body distinction. Worth picking up.
