Completely Off-Topic: Continuity Error in Star Trek Trailer
My son Marcus pointed out a continuity error in the new J. J. Abrams Star Trek trailer. The trailer has a young James Tiberius Kirk driving a roadster out in the (presumably) Iowa countryside. He is clearly very skilled at doing so. I showed this trailer to my son, who said "but dad, in [the second season episode] A Piece of the Action, he doesn't know how to drive a car." In fact, it looks as if he has never even seen a car. People don't forget things like that in twenty years.

Ha! I remember that episode! Come on Abrams -- well seasoned treksters are going to pick that thing apart!

Isn't this supposed to be a bit of a series reboot, though? That's always the impression I got.
ReplyDeleteI suppose that is true but, on the other hand, if you are not careful, you end up with something like Highlander 2
ReplyDeleteHa ha -- 10 points!
