Teach Both Sides of the Controversy Cartoon

Whenever I hear someone say we need to teach both sides of the creation/evolution controversy, I am tempted to show them this cartoon. I don't know where it came from so if you have seen it before, please let me know so I can properly attribute it.

The only problem with the graphic is that the lever is still balanced, when it should not be.

  1. Jim, does ID even claim to be a theory, explaining observations?

  2. Well, that's just it. They act as if it is theory because they constantly tout it as being the answer to "darwinism." On the other hand, as Stephen Meyer has said, it lacks a concrete theory.

  4. Good point. And don't let the DI convince you that the zero needs to be changed to a one based on this last paper from Dembski and Marks.
